Editing is the last rewrite of the story.
I'm Faiz, a film & video editor and post-production specialist based in Toronto, Canada / Remote. For 8+ years I've cut everything from broadcast commercials and music videos to narrative shorts and always-on social series — and the craft is always the same: find the story, then protect it with every cut, frame, and mix.
My suite is fluent in Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, After Effects, and Final Cut Pro, which means one room can carry a project from assembly to color grade, sound design, VFX cleanup, and motion titles — no hand-offs, no drift between departments.
As a content strategist I plan beyond the timeline: platform-native formats, content calendars, and hooks built around how audiences actually watch. The edit isn't finished when it looks good — it's finished when it holds attention where it matters.
